We added an HVAC unit, new flooring, updated appliances, remodeled bathroom and built an amazing covered back porch that overlooks the creek, complete with furniture, heater, fire pit, grill, dartboard and an outside TV. Rain or shine, you’ll enjoy spending most of your time on the porch listening to the creek!

Cabin 2, located just beside Cabin 1, was purchased in 2023. Built in 1964, we decided to remodel nearly the entire inside, with modern kitchen/appliances, gas log fireplace and a spa-like bathroom a walk-in shower and an electric heater. Enjoy the firepit by the creek, or just relax on the covered back porch and soak in the surround nature.

The winding mountain roads, the crisp air, and the serene beauty of Western North Carolina left an undeniable impression. What began as annual bike trips to this mountain town grew into a lifelong dream realized in 2019, when Dave purchased his first mountain cabin.
